Samples Team Operative

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR ESTABLISHED SAMPLES TEAM

We are a leading retailer and importer of luxury natural stone and porcelain flooring, and are currently expanding our operation. We are looking for a Samples Operative to join our existing team in Six Hills (between Melton & Loughborugh just off the A46). This team distributes samples of our products to our customers nationwide

The job role will include the following duties –

• Package and label tile sample packs ready for despatch

• Processing of orders through our website & courier IT systems

• Quality control the inventory of samples and outbound packaging

• General warehouse work

• Stock Management – including stock takes and organisation

• General housekeeping as required

Key Skills/Person Specification –

· Strong team player – must enjoy working independently and as part of a small team

· Detail focused – attention to detail is key to maintain the high quality of samples and packaging we demand

· CANDO attitude

· Conscientious – takes ownership of allocated tasks

· Physically fit – must be comfortable lifting heavy/moderate weight and able to work on your feet all day (ESSENTIAL)

· Able to reliably commute to our location (ESSENTIAL)

– Flexi/Bendi Truck Licence or Counter Balance experience would be huge advantage but not essential

No experience necessary as full training will be given for the right candidate.

This is essentially a small distribution warehouse operation and we are looking for candidates to help with both order pick/pack and goods in/stock organisation

Full time role – Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (30 min unpaid lunch)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
