Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our showroom team in Tunbridge Wells. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer-focused individual who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional service and helping customers bring their interior projects to life.
- Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (weekend work may be included)

The Role:
As a Sales Advisor, you will play an important role within our Tunbridge Wells showroom team, supporting customers throughout their journey with Quorn Stone.
From the initial enquiry through to quotation, purchase and aftersales support, you will provide a high level of customer service while offering knowledgeable advice on our products. The sales process can begin over the phone, by email or face-to-face in the showroom, so excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will need to be highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing demands. You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their requirements and provide advice on product suitability, sizing and pricing, whilst bringing a natural flair for interiors and design.
You will work closely with the wider showroom team and Showroom Manager to ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly and memorable experience.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Answering incoming sales calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Making outbound calls to our customer database
- Welcoming customers into the showroom and providing a professional and friendly experience
- Building strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process
- Guiding customers from their initial enquiry through to purchase and aftersales
- Providing advice on product suitability, sizing and pricing
- Providing technical and design advice where appropriate
- Creating accurate quotations and processing payments
- Arranging deliveries and providing outstanding aftersales service
- Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Confirming showroom appointments with customers ahead of their arrival
Showroom & Administration
- Updating the CRM system with relevant customer information and daily activity
- Arranging samples to be dispatched to customers
- Supporting the wider showroom team with day-to-day activities
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming showroom environment
- Providing refreshments to customers during showroom appointments
- Ensuring customers receive the highest level of service throughout their visit
To Be an Excellent Sales Advisor, You Will Need:
- Previous experience working in a sales environment
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering an excellent customer experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence communicating with customers over the phone, by email and face-to-face
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when communicating with customers in writing
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to your work
- Enthusiasm and a hands-on attitude – this is a busy and fast-paced environment
- The ability to work well as part of a team while also taking ownership of your responsibilities
- Strong sales skills and the ability to build relationships with customers
- Experience using a CRM system
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- A strong customer focus and a professional approach
- A natural flair for interiors and an interest in design
- Previous experience within the luxury goods market
- Previous showroom sales experience
- Knowledge or experience within interiors, design or a related sector
Industry experience is a bonus, but not essential. We are looking for someone who is confident working in a customer-focused sales environment, highly organised and genuinely passionate about delivering an exceptional experience.
