- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, with 1 day working from home following the training period

The Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role within our Accounts team, providing high-quality financial analysis, management reporting and budgeting support to help drive effective decision‑making across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts for our showrooms, providing detailed variance analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and working closely with operational teams to provide valuable financial insight.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professionally qualified accountant looking to take ownership of key areas of the finance function and contribute to the continued growth and development of a successful and expanding business.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Preparing and delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts for our showrooms
- Providing detailed variance analysis against budget and highlighting key trends
- Taking responsibility for lease accounting and ensuring compliance with FRS 102
- Producing financial performance reports and identifying potential cost‑saving opportunities
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, including ownership of designated areas of the business
- Preparing rolling forecasts and reforecasts to reflect changes across the business
- Monitoring capital expenditure on new showrooms and highlighting any variances against budget
- Providing regular financial reporting and insight to operational stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
- Supporting the implementation of improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen financial governance
- Supporting ad hoc finance projects and providing financial analysis when required
- Working closely with operational teams to provide effective financial business partnering
To Be an Excellent Management Accountant, You Will Need:
- A professionally recognised accounting qualification
- Advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience or exposure to lease accounting
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to analyse financial information and communicate key findings clearly
- A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and efficiencies
- The ability to build strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Desirable:
- Experience using Microsoft Business Central
- Experience with Cosmos Reporting
- Previous experience within the retail sector
