We are recruiting for enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic individuals to join Quorn Grange Hotel as Part-Time Food and Beverage Assistants. Working alongside our Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef and Food and Beverage Supervisors on a 16hr contract. The hotel is a busy venue and hosts many Conferences and Events. We are looking for team players who will strive to deliver the best service to our guests and deliver a great experience. Your work will vary as you will work in all aspects of the department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES
- Ensure guest satisfaction and standards are met to a high quality.
- Cleaning duties carried out.
- Service preparations are completed.
- Shift checklist are filled out and completed daily.
- Working in line with the team to achieve the common goal.
- Taking care of guest requirements ranging from serving drinks in the bar to restaurant meal service.
- Comply with licensing regulation and legislation in relation to the sale of alcohol.
- Good codes of practice.
- Up sell on food and beverage items to maximise revenue.
You should be an enthusiastic individual that enjoys being around people as this role is all about enhancing a guest experience whilst they are with us. Work patterns range from 7am to 2am, usually 8 hours within these time frames and flexibility is key. This includes weekends and holidays. We host many significant life event functions ranging from weddings to funeral wakes. We are a busy venue and each day is never the same. We are located close to the Number 2 and 126/127 bus routes.
