Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a newly created Works Control Manager to join our site operations team in Billingham.

What You\’ll Be Responsible For

Overseeing and managing all aspects of work control across our Billingham fermentation site, you will be responsible for ensuring close collaboration across the site planning, engineering and operational teams which ensures permits to work are issued safely, on-time and facilitate the secure execution of various tasks and projects.

Carrying out duties in full compliance with our Health & Safety management systems, regulatory requirements and operational guidelines and policies, you will develop best-in-class work control processes and procedures and deliver a fit for purpose professional work control facility across the plant.

What Experience You\’ll Need To Have

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor individuals involved in safe systems of work
  • Excellent ability to build effective working relationships with planning, engineering and operations teams as well as liaising with contractors, engineers and Health & Safety staff
  • Qualified in HACCP (Level 3) and IOSH accredited
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practice, along with experience of planning & operational key performance indicators
  • Understanding of business risk and awareness covering insurance, business continuity and environmental factors
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
