Overview

Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Process Development team.

Responsibilities

  • Performing a leading role within our innovation and supply chain teams, responsible for designing, developing and executing the deployment of new technologies which unlock new possibilities for both our Quorn and Cauldron products.
  • Your role will focus on bridging technical development with operational execution, driving continuous improvement, developing new technologies and collaborating across both internal teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class food manufacturing solutions.
  • Location and travel: primarily based at our main manufacturing site in Stokesley, with occasional travel to our commercial office in Leeds and to our Methwold (Norfolk) site.
  • Recruitment process: 1st stage – 45 minutes to 1 hour via Microsoft Teams to discuss CV and role-related competencies with our Process Development Manager and Resourcing Partner; 2nd stage – plant tour and meeting with key site stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Background in process engineering/development across different roles.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading large technical developments/projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead scale up of technologies from concept to full manufacturing roll-out, with experience working closely within product/packaging innovation teams.
  • Ideally be university degree educated in food science/technology.
  • Be based within a commutable distance of our Stokesley site (2-3 days per week) with flexibility to travel to Leeds & Methwold.
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet - you don\'t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
