Overview
Quorn Foods are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to join our manufacturing and operations team out of our Stokesley based manufacturing plant.
What you\’ll be responsible for
- Ensuring that your shift team are compliant with business safety and quality procedures, you will manage a team of manufacturing technicians and operators to deliver line output and meet key production related performance indicators.
- You will coach and develop a multi-skilled team, addressing line losses, performance issues whilst developing technical skills which set priorities for reliability and loss reduction.
- Managing the shift-to-shift handover procedures, you will create robust planned stops, drive out losses and ensure each team member understands their roles and actions to deliver production results.
What experience you\\\’ll need to have
- Demonstrable background in a supervisory/management role within a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of the food production lifecycle, along with a continuous improvement mindset and background in food manufacturing excellence
- Excellent leadership skills with presentable record of effectively managing, coaching and developing a team
- Ideally hold qualifications in HACCP and Food Hygiene
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
