Join us as a Payroll Coordinator on a 6 month fixed term contract and help ensure our people operations run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently with the purpose of supporting our colleagues throughout every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Play a significant role in delivering exceptional payroll support across our organization.
- Provide essential administrative support across payroll, benefits, and HR processes to ensure accurate and compliant people operations.
- Maintain employee data, process starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Assist with monthly payroll preparation and administer company benefits.
- Prepare employment documentation, support onboarding/offboarding, and maintain absence and personnel records.
- Act as a key point of contact for HR and payroll queries, delivering clear and consistent advice and escalating more complex issues when needed.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements within our people systems, processes, and knowledge resources.
This is a fixed term contract role for a period of 6 months. Applicants must be available immediately or at short notice.
Qualifications
- Background of monthly payroll administration and coordination within a medium-large sized organization.
- Knowledge of UK payroll and HR processes (such as statutory pay, contracts, benefits).
- Experience of working with SAP/SuccessFactors.
- Excellent administration skills with a high attention to detail and level of accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with knowledge of reporting and reconciliations.
- Understanding of HR administration and employee lifecycle processes along with ability to manage multiple workloads with strict deadlines.
