Who We Are: Established in 1995, Quorn Stone is a leading retailer of luxury natural stone and porcelain flooring, with showrooms across the UK and Head Office based in Loughborough. We are passionate about delivering exceptional products and customer service, working with homeowners, designers, and trade professionals to create beautiful spaces. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Showroom Team Leader to join our showroom team and support the Showroom Manager in delivering outstanding sales performance and customer service.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 plus a performance bonus with a max OTE of £48,950
Working hours: Full-time, including weekends on a rota basis
Location: Surrey Showroom, The Old Foundry, London Road North, Merstham, RH1 3BN

The Role: As a Showroom Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Showroom Manager and leading the showroom sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and strong commercial results. You will have a strong understanding of the sales cycle and be confident in targeting, engaging and qualifying potential customers. Alongside managing your own leads and customer relationships, you will monitor workloads, guide the Sales Advisors and support the team in converting opportunities into sales. You will also conduct face-to-face showroom appointments, provide expert advice on product suitability and design, and support the resolution of complex customer queries and complaints. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about customer service, enjoys coaching and motivating others, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Answering incoming sales calls and managing customer enquiries
- Making outbound calls to our customer database
- Managing your own sales leads and customer pipeline
- Monitoring Sales Advisor workloads and supporting the team with priorities
- Guiding the sales team through the sales process and supporting them in closing sales
- Conducting face-to-face showroom appointments with customers
- Providing advice on product suitability, sizing, pricing and design
- Creating quotations and invoices, processing payments and arranging deliveries
- Providing outstanding aftersales service and resolving customer queries
- Handling complex complaints and supporting effective problem resolution
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Welcoming customers into the showroom and ensuring a professional and friendly experience
- Updating the CRM system with relevant customer information and daily activity
- Arranging product samples to be dispatched to customers
- Coaching, monitoring and supporting the performance of the showroom sales team
- Assisting with new starter inductions and training
- Supporting the Showroom Manager with sales, customer service and operational matters
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service across the showroom
To Be an Excellent Showroom Team Leader, You Will Need:
- Experience working within a sales environment
- Strong sales experience
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine customer-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using a CRM system
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A self-motivated and proactive approach
- The ability to inspire, motivate and support those around you
- A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Confidence in guiding customers through the sales process and closing sales
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to handle customer complaints professionally and effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Experience within the luxury goods market
- Knowledge or experience of interiors and design
- Previous experience coaching, mentoring or supporting a sales team
- Previous showroom experience
