Quorn Stone, a leading retailer and importer of luxury natural stone and porcelain flooring, invites applicants to oversee daily operations at our Solihull showroom.
Location: Solihull (In person)
Job Type: Full‑time
Working Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm; Saturday 9:30am‑5pm; Sunday 10:30am‑4:00pm.
Pay: £32,000 – £55,925 per year (OTE £55,925).
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of a small sales team.
- Welcoming customers to the showroom and building relationships.
- Providing advice on suitability, sizing, pricing while showcasing a natural flair for interiors.
- Creating quotations, processing payments, arranging deliveries, and delivering outstanding after‑sales service.
- Problem‑solving at all stages of customer engagement.
- Managing the showroom diary and online appointments.
- Updating the CRM system with relevant client information and daily activity.
- Occasional travel to other showrooms and the head office.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and outstanding time‑management and organisation skills.
- Ability to manage, develop, and upskill direct reports.
- Confidence to initiate face‑to‑face conversations with customers and be a brilliant communicator.
- Strong written communication skills – clear, concise emails.
- Commercially minded with a proven ability to drive sales.
- Background in design, interiors, or the creative industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Team player who is helpful, hands‑on, and genuinely interested in meeting people.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
