Who We Are: Established in 1995, Quorn Stone is a leading retailer of luxury natural stone and porcelain flooring, with showrooms across the UK and Head Office based in Loughborough. We are passionate about delivering exceptional products and customer service, working with homeowners, designers, and trade professionals to create beautiful spaces. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our new upcoming Cheshire showroom team and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting customers throughout their sales journey.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 plus a performance related bonus of up to £6,200

Working hours: Full-time, including weekends on a rota basis

Location: Cheshire Showroom, The Barn, Mill Lane, Alderley Edge, SK9 7TY

The Role: As a Sales Advisor, you will play an important role within our showroom team, providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers throughout the sales process. The sales journey can begin over the phone, via email or face-to-face in the showroom, so you will need to be a confident, friendly and professional communicator across all platforms. You will provide customers with expert advice on our products, including suitability, sizing and pricing, while using your natural flair for interiors to help customers make informed decisions. You will manage customer enquiries, support the sales process from initial enquiry through to aftersales, and ensure customer information and activity is accurately recorded on our CRM system. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about customer service, interiors and delivering an excellent customer experience in a busy, fast-paced showroom environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Answering incoming sales calls and responding to customer enquiries
  • Making outbound calls to our customer database
  • Guiding customers throughout the sales process
  • Providing clear, confident and professional communication via phone, email and face-to-face
  • Creating quotations and processing payments
  • Arranging customer deliveries
  • Providing outstanding aftersales service
  • Providing advice on product suitability, sizing and pricing
  • Using your knowledge and flair for interiors to support customers with their requirements
  • Updating the CRM system with relevant customer information and daily activity
  • Arranging product samples to be dispatched to customers
  • Welcoming customers into the showroom and providing a professional and friendly experience
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Confirming showroom appointments with customers prior to their arrival
  • Supporting the showroom team with customer enquiries and sales activity
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and presentable showroom
  • Providing refreshments to customers during showroom appointments
  • Resolving customer queries and providing appropriate technical and design advice
  • Supporting the wider showroom team to deliver excellent customer service

To Be an Excellent Sales Advisor, You Will Need:

  • Experience working within a sales environment
  • A minimum of 2 years' sales experience
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and grammatical accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Confidence communicating with customers over the phone, via email and face-to-face
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • An enthusiasm for interiors and design

Desirable:

  • Experience within the luxury goods market
  • Knowledge or experience of interiors and design
  • Previous showroom experience
  • Experience working with natural stone, porcelain or other premium home improvement products
