About The Team And Role
The Recruiting Team at Quora drives the company’s growth by hiring world-class talent to shape the future of AI. We specialize in building diverse pipelines for technical and non-technical roles, including senior engineering hiring. We manage multiple pipelines, craft effective outreach strategies, and leverage tools to connect with top talent globally. If you’re passionate about sourcing exceptional candidates and want to contribute to a team shaping AI products like Poe, join us.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates for Quora and Poe via LinkedIn, boolean search, and creative techniques
- Review inbound applications and identify qualified candidates
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build and manage proactive pipelines
- Manage the candidate journey from outreach to interview coordination
- Conduct market research, maintain talent maps, and build a diverse candidate network
- Achieve sourcing metrics (outreach volume, pipeline goals, time-to-source targets)
- Write compelling outreach campaigns to engage prospective candidates
Minimum Requirements
- Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora’s coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
- Based in Ireland, the UK, or the Eastern Time Zone of Canada
- 4+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, including 2+ years in talent sourcing for engineering roles
- Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, sequencing tools, ATSs, and similar platforms
- Experience sourcing talent internationally for global organizations, specifically in North America
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking; ability to work proactively in ambiguous environments
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Ashby
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Interest in the Quora and Poe products
