We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead the UK offline expansion of QUOKKA—one of the most successful international brands in educational games and puzzles. We’re the #1 online children’s puzzles brand in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, trusted by tens of millions of families over the past 7 years. In the US, our kids’ puzzles sell every 22 seconds, and we’ve delivered a 72% CAGR over the last 4 years. QUOKKA products are already thriving online in the UK—now we’re ready to bring the brand to life in retail stores and distribution networks.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand QUOKKA’s offline presence in the UK retail market.
- Identify, open, and manage partnerships with major retail chains, distributors, and specialty stores.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and promotional support within budget parameters.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal assortments and product line placements in stores.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and key partners.
- Lead and motivate sales representatives and agents to achieve sales and distribution goals.
- Organize and represent QUOKKA at trade fairs, exhibitions, and retail events in the UK.
- Monitor market trends, prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in retail sales or key account management within the UK market.
- Strong network or understanding of UK retail and distribution (ideally in toys, games, or consumer products).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work confidently with reports and sales forecasts.
