Are you a qualified Science teacher who enjoys sparking curiosity, building confidence and helping students make sense of the world around them? We’re supporting a rapidly improving secondary school in the Fareham and Gosport area seeking a committed Science teacher for a long-term supply role throughout the spring term, starting January 2026. There is potential for this to extend following staffing reviews at the end of the academic year. The school is open to full-time applicants or 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday). We pay all staff to scale, based on experience. For example, M6 = £232 per day.
The Role
- Teach Science across KS3 and some KS4 groups
- Deliver engaging lessons that build scientific knowledge and enquiry skills
- Support the department with planning and assessment where required
- Build positive relationships and help students grow in confidence and independence
