Quod is an independent, bustling, city centre restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats. Located on Oxford’s famous High Street, Quod is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The menu consists of European classics with an emphasis on British produce. The busy restaurant, with a high level of repeat business, is open every day of the year.

Quod is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar. Having recently undergone a complete refurbishment programme, we have 80 bedrooms across three iconic properties in central Oxford, with unrivalled views across the city’s beautiful skyline.

Responsibilities of the Busser

• To prepare the restaurant for service, following the job lists and as directed by the duty manager.
• To ensure that the restaurant is fully stocked with clean, polished cutlery at all times.
• To ensure ready supplies of napkins are stored in the restaurant before, and during service.
• To ensure tables are cleared and re-laid to a high standard, as quickly as possible.
• To ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and through ongoing diligence during the shift.

We offer a sensible shift pattern, across a 35-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with a salary of £12.21 per hour plus non-contractual service charge (tronc).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
