Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Studio Product Photographer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One (or similar capture software), with a strong eye for visual storytelling, consistency, and brand aesthetics. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality imagery for our e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality, consistent product photography for e-commerce, including flat lays, on-model, and still life images.
- Collaborate with stylists, models, and art directors to ensure all imagery meets brand standards and creative direction.
- Operate and maintain studio lighting, camera equipment, and capture software (Capture One or similar).
- Edit and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop to meet web-ready specifications and aesthetic guidelines.
- Data entry using Excel spreadsheets
- Ensure all assets are delivered on time and properly archived.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient studio environment.
- Ensure all products are colour corrected and consistent
- Liaising with studio manager to ensure all ad hoc tasks are complete
- Stay current on photography trends, e-commerce standards, and digital best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a studio photographer, preferably in fashion, beauty, or product photography.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One (or similar tethering software).
- Solid understanding of studio lighting, composition, and digital workflow.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating a high level of photographic and post-production ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail brand environment.
- HND in photography or equivalent
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Basic video or motion capture skills are a plus.
