Job Description
Set in the heart of Liverpool city centre, Quirky Quarter is a popular visitor attraction well loved by locals and tourists alike. As we continue to grow with a new corporate events space almost ready to market, we're looking for a driven Sales & Events Manager to promote, lead and coordinate all aspects of sales and event management across the business. This is a newly created and unique role with the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a small team to establish a new event space within the city centre. A realistic and achievable bonus scheme will also be included. Â
The Role:
This is a hands-on, multi-skiled position where you’ll take full ownership of the events process, from initial enquiry and conversion to on-the-day execution. You'll work closely with the general manager to ensure each event runs smoothly, while hitting sales targets and maximising revenue opportunities. The role will also include all marketing and promotion of both sides of the events and visitor attraction businesses. It is essential that you have a knowledge of the city and its corporate market.  Â
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage inbound and outbound sales for private hires, parties, corporate bookings, and seasonal events
- Coordinate all event logistics, acting as the main point of contact from enquiry through to delivery
- Work closely with the venue manager and operations to ensure exceptional customer service and smooth execution
- Create and update event packages and promotional materialsÂ
- Manage database, follow-up processes, and booking systems
- Create regular content and posts for social media account
- Produce accurate forecasting and monthly reports for senior management
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales and event coordination, within hospitality
- Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to varying venue styles and client needs
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Target-driven mindset with a customer-first approach
- Proficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required
