Quirky Digital is seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in improving online visibility and engaging audiences through innovative SEO strategies.
The successful applicant will be an important member of our SEO team, working alongside our Head of SEO while leading execution to maximise search engine visibility and ranking for our clients.
Within our SEO team, we have high standards – you'll have access to an in-house on-page SEO consultant, a technical SEO consultant and a growing outreach team.

This is a full-time, hybrid role. We are a sociable team, so we are looking for somebody who can commute to Liverpool.
Responsibilities
• Help manage SEO projects from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link-building strategies.
• Conduct thorough SEO audits and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions – using tools such a SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and manual analysis.
• Keep abreast of algorithm updates, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain high rankings.
• Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools, providing reports to management and clientele with actionable insights.
• Work alongside our management team to help manage, train, and grow the SEO team, setting clear goals and benchmarks.
• Liaise with the development team to ensure that website infrastructure aligns with SEO best practices.
• Management of content on websites using WordPress, WebFlow, Shopify, Magento, Umbraco, Joomla and other custom content management systems.
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years experience in SEO with the delivery of marketing campaigns
- Previous experience managing an SEO team (either internal or external)
- Examples of websites you’ve ranked at the top of Google previously
- Strong understanding of Google ranking factors, algorithms and on-page SEO
- Experienced with various SEO tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical/communication skills
- Posses a hard-working and “can-do” attitude
