Are you a newly qualified or qualified accountant with a keen interest in VAT or tax?
Reporting to the Finance Director, you\’ll play a vital role in establishing VAT processes across the group.
You\’ll gain hands-on experience with VAT compliance, transaction reviews, and supporting system enhancements, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in tax.
Your Role:
- Support the group\’s VAT registration process and ensure compliance.
- Help set up finance systems, streamline processes, and provide training to users.
- Work with the Finance Director to monitor legislative changes and ensure accuracy in VAT treatment.
- Produce and submit VAT returns, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Gain exposure to partial exemptions and VAT recovery strategies.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an interest in VAT or tax.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident with Excel and finance systems.
