Overview: Quinton Davies is working on behalf of a small yet very dynamic accountancy practice who due to organic growth, are looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join their friendly and successful team.
What you'll be doing in brief:
- Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies for review by senior staff.
- Preparation of company tax return.
- Preparing personal tax returns.
- Bookkeeping using a variety of software.
- Preparation of payroll.
- VAT returns and other monthly/ quarterly filings.
- Assisting with management accounts.
- Liaising with third parties to gather the required information.
- Dealing with ad hoc queries and using initiative in different situations.
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Graduate.
- Good communication skills and able to develop lasting client relationships.
- Attentive to detail.
- Able to use your initiative.
