Overview
Quinton Davies is working on behalf of an established practice based in Cardiff who are looking for a Payroll Officer.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Processing, ownership and completion of regular client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) across a range of sectors; including setting up starters and leavers, other payroll data including processing adjustments to salaries and employee data.
- Reconciliation of HMRC account and liaising with HMRC on behalf of the clients.
- Resolution of day-to-day queries and liaising with the clients to request information for payroll processing.
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Communicates effectively at all levels with colleagues and clients.
- Technically up to date, including statutory payroll requirement (SSP/ SMP/ SPP/ PAYE & NIC).
- Payroll experience within bureau or accountancy firm.
- Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
