Salary: £32,000–£42,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in a UK accountancy practice
Qualification: ACCA/ACA/ATT/CTA – qualified, part-qualified or studying towards

The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Tax Assistant to join their growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to develop their technical knowledge and gain broader exposure across personal, corporate and compliance work.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider tax and accounts teams, supporting clients with their tax compliance requirements while also gaining exposure to accounts production and tax advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, partnerships and companies.
Assist with personal and corporate tax compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Review financial information and supporting documentation.
Research UK tax legislation and provide support on tax-related queries.
Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information and resolve queries.
Assist with tax planning and advisory work.
Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with relevant tax legislation and deadlines.
Support the wider tax team with administrative and compliance activities.
Assist with accounts preparation and production where required.
