The Opportunity
A well-established and growing accountancy practice in North West London is looking to recruit an experienced
Accounts Senior to join its team.
The practice has a strong client-focused approach and works with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and property investors across a range of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified
ACA or ACCA accountant looking to broaden their experience, develop their client portfolio and take on greater responsibility within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalise statutory accounts under
- Prepare and oversee management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage accounting assignments from planning through to completion.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
- Manage client queries and maintain strong client relationships.
- Supervise, train and mentor junior members of the team.
- Provide guidance and feedback to support the development of junior staff.
- Assist partners and managers with ad hoc accounting projects.
- Contribute to process improvements and the continued development of the practice.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant accountancy practice experience.
- Strong experience in statutory accounts preparation and review.
- Good technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident managing client relationships and handling client queries.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
