The Role

An exceptional Private PA is sought to support a busy UHNW principal based in Tunbridge Wells. This is a varied role requiring a highly organised, proactive, and professional individual who can provide seamless support across all aspects of the principal’s personal, household, and administrative affairs.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted right hand to the principal, managing schedules, appointments, travel arrangements, correspondence, bookings, projects, household administration, and day to day logistics. The role will require excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.

This position requires flexibility with regard to working hours, as the principal’s requirements will naturally vary from day to day. Whilst there will be periods requiring an on site presence, there will also be scope for remote working when appropriate. As such, this should be viewed as a hybrid role, offering a degree of flexibility whilst maintaining a high level of responsiveness and support.

The ideal candidate will be highly resourceful, discreet, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining absolute confidentiality. They will be comfortable liaising with household staff, contractors, suppliers, schools, tutors, travel providers, and other professional contacts to ensure the smooth running of the principal’s personal and household affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive private PA support to the principal.
  • Manage complex diaries, appointments, schedules, and calendar coordination.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries, and transportation.
  • Manage correspondence, bookings, reservations, and day to day administration.
  • Liaise with household staff and oversee household related logistics on behalf of the principal.
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, tutors, schools, and external professionals.
  • Research and source products, services, and specialist support when required.
  • Assist with personal projects, events, and special requests.
  • Monitor ongoing priorities and proactively identify matters requiring attention.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems.
  • Handle highly confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Provide flexible support outside standard working hours when required.
  • Work both remotely and on site as needed to meet the principal’s evolving requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting a UHNW individual.
  • Proven experience working as a Private PA, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience managing complex diaries, schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Highly proactive with excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable liaising with household staff, suppliers, contractors, and professional advisers.
  • Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
  • Strong IT and administrative skills.
  • Driver preferred but not essential.
  • Able to support and uphold the family’s Christian values.
