Outline Duties

  • Manufacture products to a high standard using various types of forming equipment such as stitch welders, spot welders, swagers, gore-lockers, guillotine
  • Ability to fabricate sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision
  • Fabricate sheet metal products based on technical drawings

General

We have a small production team, and it is therefore essential that all members of the team be prepared to help each other in times of need. This does mean that a flexible attitude to the duties to be carried out is essential; providing cover for other members of the team will be a requirement of this position. All holidays must be carefully coordinated with the other members of the team; only 5 members of the team may be on holiday at any point in time (except during fixed shut-down periods).

Employees must ensure that they take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the health and safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions; that they familiarize themselves with the health and safety arrangements that apply to themselves, their equipment and their work; that they co-operate with management to ensure that all statutory duties are complied with.

Job Preview

39.5hr contract. Overtime at 1.5 times standard rate. Monday to Thursday - 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Friday - 7:30 am to 1:15 pm. 25 Days Annual Leave + Statutory Bank Holidays.
