Numatic designs, engineers and manufactures professional, practical and reliable equipment right here in the UK. With sales in over 90 countries worldwide and an exciting pipeline of new products, there has never been a better time to join our team. Based in Chard, Somerset, this role offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful semi-rural location with stunning coastlines less than 20 minutes away, whilst remaining well connected to major towns and cities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Warehouse Team as a Weekend Warehouse Team Leader. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You will support the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating daily warehouse activities and, in their absence, take responsibility for ensuring operations continue to run smoothly, safely and efficiently. Working alongside the warehouse team, you will help ensure products, accessories and spare parts are accurately picked, packed and dispatched to deliver a first-class service to our customers. You will play a key role in motivating the team, maintaining productivity, and ensuring operational standards are consistently achieved. Success in this role will come from your ability to lead by example, support your team in achieving operational targets, and maintain the high standards of safety, quality and customer service that Numatic is known for.

ABOUT YOU

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced operational environment. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who can inspire others, drive performance, and maintain high standards whilst ensuring our customers continue to receive the excellent service they expect.

You will lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability and a strong work ethic. Comfortable managing changing priorities, you will be able to organise workloads effectively, coach and support team members, and make confident decisions to keep operations running smoothly.

As a natural problem-solver, you will take ownership of challenges, remain calm under pressure, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve both team and departmental objectives. You will also be passionate about creating a positive team culture, promoting safe working practices, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse processes and performance.
