- Job Overview
The role involves the cleaning of vehicles at various stages of the build in accordance with the production plan.
You will work closely with supervisory staff and quality teams to ensure snag lists are completed and vehicles are cleaned to a high standard ready for the final inspection.
You will be required to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines for the use of chemicals and the wearing of PPE including air fed facemasks is essential.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Waste management and vehicle cleaning.
- Quality checking.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Be familiar with the company's Health and Safety Policies and in particular with your responsibilities.
- Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, included in the company handbook.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication includes speaking, writing, active listening and taking instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload in order to meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Excellent work ethic and team player.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Flexible approach to working additional hours when required.
- Physically fit as manoeuvring in small spaces is required.
