Dementia Support Worker – Bank Shifts
Rates of Pay
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care: £13.77 per hour
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: £14.60 per hour
Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs to live empowered, fulfilling lives? If you hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and have at least 6 months’ experience in a Dementia care setting, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Specialist Support Worker, you will help us to ensure that people are treated with respect and dignity. Your approach will be empathetic, compassionate, and focused on ensuring that the lives of residents are fulfilled and meaningful.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Support people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life as much as possible with joy and happiness.
- Providing personal care with empathy and sensitivity
- Receive tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of those you will support.
