K ey Accountabilities

  • To manage the designated team, ensuring Company policies and internal processes are adhered to and all customer orders are picked on time, according to customer specifications.
  • To ensure all vehicles are despatched, loaded correctly and safely with load manifest correctly completed.
  • To ensure stock, including ex-production lines, are stored safely, with all correct identification visible on every pallet, to agreed procedures and at the correct temperature specification.
  • To plan staffing in relation to workload, budget, and volumes.

Complete people processes within the correct time frames, such as people management processes, return to work forms, performance discussions, and People related activities.

  • To ensure the team are trained and able to work in all roles. To ensure staff are trained on Prophet and any paperwork they may have to complete.
  • To ensure communication and handover between the teams in particular ensuring the night shift are aware of outstanding issues that may affect the completion of their tasks.
  • To proactively report/resolve all market and quality hold stock on a daily basis to the relevant desks, ensuring that action is taken and reported to higher management if not.
  • To manage, develop and motivate direct reports to ensure commitment, consistently high performance and KPIs are all met.

Ensuring all Cleaning Instruction Cards are completed on time.

  • To manage the yard area, ensuring it is kept tidy and it is staffed in a correct and cost effective way.
  • To ensure all MHE equipment is in a safe condition prior to use and all relevant paperwork is completed for each shift. Ensuring any MHE breakdowns are reported immediately.
  • To actively promote best practice in relation to Hygiene, Health & Safety standards, good housekeeping and support the Company’s efforts to minimise its environmental impact and adopt environmental best practice.
  • To look to identify areas of improvement, opportunity, innovation and communicate these to the relevant personnel.
  • To keep up to date with WFL production system and any continuous improvements, model zone, 5s, etc.

To ensure pest control services and MHE training matrix are always kept up to date.

  • To ensure brand integrity is maintained for Worldwide Fruit and our customers by following policies and procedures so the product meets the expected standard and specification.

Requirements

For all roles, candidates will be expected to demonstrate a good understanding of both verbal and written English.

You will also be required to work well in a team, be flexible and have great attention to detail skills.
