Hours of Work: Standard shift pattern average 42 hours per week – Rest Day Working and overtime available. NO Overnight stays. Standard shift pattern is a 4 on 2 off rotating shift pattern to enable the business to service our customer’s requirements 7 days a week. The shift will start between 4.00 a.m. and 6.00 a.m.
Your new role: As an HGV Driver with us, you will be delivering and collecting linen from our customers within the Site’s geographical service area. As part of this you will:
- Be an Ambassador for CLEAN, have a can-do, right-first-time and passionate approach to your role
- Enjoy working as part of a successful team
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
What are the requirements of the role?
- Current and Valid Class 2 (CAT C) Driving Licence
- Current and Valid Digital Tacho card
- Current and Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC card)
- Good communication skills, in English (our business language)
- A customer focused approach
- Ability to lift heavy bags/cages
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A bank account in your own name or as part of a joint account
