About the role: As a Fleet and Asset Co-ordinator you will support the Fleet and Asset Manager with the vehicle order process, supplier communication, compliance documentation and fleet onboarding activities. What kind of person are we looking for?

  • You will likely have worked within a similar role such as a Fleet Co-ordinator; Fleet Controller; Asset Co-ordinator; Fleet Administrator; Fleet Operations Co-ordinator; Fleet Operations Administrator, or within Customer Service / Administration.
  • Experience of managing customer‑facing relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to develop and follow processes.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
  • Experience of working in the truck / HGV industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fleet systems advantageous.
  • Experience of dealing with manufacturers advantageous.
  • Experience of managing indirect reports to achieve successful outcomes advantageous.

What you’ll be doing day to day: As the Fleet and Asset Co‑ordinator you will be responsible for maintaining the ‘Vehicle Order Book’ ensuring it is always up to date with build and delivery dates via liaison with the supply chain. Day to day support to the Fleet and Asset Manager. Ensuring effective communication internally across Commercial, Service and Finance teams; and externally with customers and suppliers. Producing KPI reports around sales and vehicle order activity. Ensuring controls and processes are in place around the ordering and delivery of new vehicle fleet. Responsibility for the seamless delivery of new vehicles to customers, including any pre‑delivery inspections and arrangements for any driver familiarisation training. Collation of all new vehicle compliance documentation prior to vehicle delivery. Vehicle onboarding to internal system and communication with Finance, Commercial and Service teams. Development of fleet systems and report analysis.
