Due to growth, we have a Team Manager vacancy available on our AM shift.
Blue Earth Foods is a leading supplier of high quality seafood, dips, proteins, sauces, and ready meals, serving several major UK supermarkets.
Operating across three sites on the same street, the business has grown significantly, particularly in the dips and marinades sector.
Blue Earth Foods lives by its four core values of teamwork, quality, honesty and passion.
The team are efficient, reactive and have achieved some great results over the last few years, everyone is working towards the same goal and cross functional support is always there.
- The main accountabilities of this role are;
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities including planning and problem solving and provides guidance to their team members.
- Sets targets, implements guidelines, and assists with any issues the employees may have.
- Implements team goals and ensures all members understand the team's objectives and works together to achieve them.
- Fosters a cohesive, creative, and comfortable working environment, mediating any interpersonal issues within the team.
- Provides leadership and direction where necessary.
- Awareness of team strategies, using technology, workplace diversity, management styles, mediation, macro, and micro-management.
- Supervises, trains or guides team members
- Use of UKG time management system to authorize weekly timesheets for all direct reports and time off requests
- Inspires and motivates team members
- This role has a responsibility for food safety, product quality, brand integrity and Health and Safety
Please note, you must have food manufacturing experience to be shortlisted for this position.
