Salary: £12.71 per hour

About the role

As our Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring everyone who visits or contacts the home receives a positive first impression. You will manage the reception area, answer telephone enquiries, provide administrative support, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

Main Duties

Welcoming residents, relatives, professionals, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.

Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with a variety of administrative tasks.

Processing documentation and maintaining accurate records.

Operating office equipment including computers, photocopiers, and other office systems.

Helping to maintain a secure, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in the home.

Promoting the home's values and reputation through excellent customer service.

We’re seeking someone who is:

Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Is friendly, confident, and professional.

Has a positive and caring attitude.

Possesses good IT, word processing, and numerical skills.

Has a professional telephone manner.

Enjoys working as part of a team while also being able to work independently.

Has experience dealing with members of the public, ideally within a customer-facing role.
