Description

We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and personable individual to join our busy Planned Works Engineering Team at our Office in Blackburn.

This is a varied and fast-paced administration role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, engineers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll play an important part in coordinating planned maintenance activities and ensuring our customers receive a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and handling incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Planning and coordinating preventative maintenance visits
  • Liaising with customers and engineers to ensure appointments and service targets are met
  • Responding to new enquiries and following them through appropriately
  • Communicating effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Updating systems and carrying out accurate data entry
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is kept up to date
  • Supporting the wider engineering and administration team as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident, with a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Office 365
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work accurately and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
