Derwen College...the place of possibility! We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Horticulture Teacher to join our team on a fixed‑term maternity cover basis, working three days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students with learning disabilities and autism, delivering engaging, practical horticulture lessons that develop vocational skills, confidence and independence. Working within our specialist education environment, you will create inclusive learning experiences that help students achieve their individual goals while fostering a passion for horticulture.
The successful candidate will have experience in horticulture, excellent teaching and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred education. A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, is desirable. Requirements:
