ABOUT THE ROLE : Numatic International is expanding.
We design, engineer, and manufacture in the UK with global sales.
The role is based in Chard, Somerset, offering semi-rural lifestyle with access to coastal areas and quick links to major towns.

As part of the mould shop team, you will be responsible for operating machines, quality checking products, and packing finished mouldings into stillages for transport to the assembly lines.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring moulding machines to produce high-quality mouldings.
- Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Striving to meet or improve output targets.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by management.
- Supporting Setters and Supervisors to maximise output.
- Ensuring the machine runs smoothly and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Some parts assembly is required as part of the role.
What we're looking for
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or moulding environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new machinery and processes quickly.
- Team player with a proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Paid Holiday: 255.75 hours per annum including Bank Holidays.

- Shift and Hours
The hours of work are 4 x 6pm β 10pm, followed by 4 days off .
This shift runs 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
