About Us: Here at Shake Shack, we take care of each other first and foremost so that we can make raves for our guests, community, suppliers, and investors. After all, teamwork makes the dream work. We work hard, but we play hard too. If you’re looking for a deeply fulfilling, financially rewarding, and really fun career, you’re in the right place. Shake Shack serves elevated versions of American classics using only the best ingredients. From our signature Angus beef burgers and crispy chicken to hand-spun shakes, house-made lemonades, beer, and wine, we’re known for high-quality food, warm hospitality, and uplifting guest experiences.
The Opportunity: We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded marketer who thrives on making things happen. As our Senior Local Marketing & Menu Management Executive, you'll be responsible for bringing the Shake Shack brand to life across every UK Shack. From launching new restaurants and building local partnerships to delivering national menu launches and creating unforgettable community activations, you'll own the execution of projects that directly influence guest experience and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Local Partnerships & Community Marketing: You'll be responsible for bringing Shake Shack into the heart of every community we serve. Help to identify, develop and implement a localised marketing strategy that aligns with overall business goals. Own the delivery of local marketing initiatives that increase awareness, drive guest traffic and strengthen our presence within local communities. Build and nurture relationships with landlords, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), universities, charities, local businesses and community organisations. Lead the planning and execution of community events, collaborations, pop-ups and hyper-local activations from concept through to delivery. Deliver creative experiences including run clubs, sporting partnerships, student activity, dog events and neighbourhood collaborations that reinforce the Shake Shack brand. Monitor campaign performance, evaluate results and recommend improvements to maximise future impact.
- Sales-driving Activities: You'll help ensure marketing activity translates into commercial results. Deliver local campaigns that support sales growth and guest acquisition. Identify opportunities to improve performance across individual Shacks through targeted marketing activity. Partner with Operations teams to understand local trading opportunities and challenges. Develop Shack-specific campaigns, offers and activations that encourage repeat visits and increase footfall.
- Menu & Systems Management: You'll own the successful delivery of every menu launch across the UK business. Lead on Limited Time Menu (LTO) launches and changeovers, ensuring all digital and physical menu assets are updated accurately and on time. Conduct audits of digital and physical menu assets to ensure consistency and accuracy. Liaise with agencies, printers, and design partners to manage timelines and approvals.
- New Shack Openings: Support pre-opening marketing, menu and system setup, and launch events. Every new Shack opening is a major moment for our business—and you'll help make each one unforgettable.
- Campaigns & Activations: You'll play a key role in delivering our annual marketing calendar. Execute national campaigns including Limited Time Offers, seasonal promotions and partnership launches.
- General Marketing Support: Maintain organised asset libraries and campaign trackers. Provide occasional support for social, CRM, or copywriting tasks. Help ensure the Shack teams are informed and equipped with campaign communications.
The Ingredients You’ll Need: You're someone who loves turning ideas into reality. You enjoy juggling multiple projects, thrive in fast-paced environments and naturally take ownership of your work. You're equally comfortable organising the finer details of a menu launch as you are building relationships with external partners or delivering a community activation. Most importantly, you're proactive. You don't wait to be asked; you identify opportunities, solve problems and look for ways to continuously improve what you do.
What You'll Bring: We're looking for someone with experience delivering marketing campaigns within hospitality, retail or another multi-site consumer business. Strong project management and organisational skills. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports business performance. Confidence managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Outstanding attention to detail. A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership. Experience working with agencies, suppliers or external partners. A genuine passion for hospitality, community marketing and creating memorable guest experiences.
Why Join Shake Shack? This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised brand during an exciting period of growth in the UK. You'll work on projects that have real visibility across the business—from launching new Shacks and delivering national menu campaigns to creating local partnerships that become part of the communities we serve. You'll be trusted with genuine ownership, supported by an ambitious and collaborative team, and given the opportunity to broaden your experience across every aspect of marketing within a fast-growing hospitality business.
