Shake Shack is hiring a CRM & Digital Marketing Executive on a 6-month contract to support the continued growth and optimisation of our UK digital channels.

This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting CRM, menu management, digital campaigns, delivery partner activity, promotions, reporting and day‑to‑day digital operations.

A key focus of the role will be ensuring our menus, campaigns and guest‑facing digital touchpoints are accurate, timely and commercially effective across delivery platforms, kiosks, digital menu boards, online ordering and CRM.

You will work closely with the Digital Experience Manager, internal stakeholders, Shack teams and third‑party partners to support new menu launches, promotional activity, reporting and channel performance.

This role would suit someone detail‑orientated, data‑curious and highly organised, who enjoys working across multiple platforms, spotting opportunities for improvement and making sure digital activity is executed brilliantly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Management & Digital Operations
  • Support the day‑to‑day management and optimisation of Shake Shack’s digital menus across delivery platforms, kiosks, online ordering, digital menu boards and other guest‑facing digital channels.
  • Coordinate menu updates for new product launches, limited‑time offers, pricing changes, modifiers, allergen updates, imagery, descriptions and availability.
  • Carry out detailed QA across all digital menu channels to ensure product names, pricing, allergens, modifiers, imagery, descriptions and availability are correct.
  • Maintain clear trackers, timelines and documentation for menu updates, launches and platform changes.
  • Promotions & Campaign Setup
  • Support the setup, testing and execution of promotional activity across delivery platforms, kiosks and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate promo mechanics, including discount codes, product bundles, free item offers, minimum spend promotions and channel‑specific campaigns.
  • Work with delivery partners and third‑party vendors to ensure promotions are built correctly and go live as planned.
  • QA promotional activity before launch to ensure guest journey, pricing, redemption rules and platform visibility are correct.
  • Track performance of promotional campaigns and support post‑campaign reporting.
  • Digital Partnerships
  • Support the day‑to‑day coordination of digital partnerships, including delivery aggregators, technology vendors, CRM partners and digital agencies.
  • Support delivery partner marketing activity, including platform visibility, campaign participation, paid placements and promotional opportunities.
  • Help coordinate digital launch plans for new Shack openings, new delivery channels and new technology rollouts.
  • Support the Digital Experience Manager with partner meetings, follow‑ups, trackers and performance analysis.
  • Reporting & Data
  • Support the Digital Experience Manager with regular reporting across CRM, delivery, kiosks, digital menus, promotional campaigns and digital partner activity.
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting, including pulling data, sense‑checking outputs, summarising insights and highlighting recommended actions.
  • Help assess the impact of campaigns, menu changes, promotions and channel activity on sales, engagement, conversion and guest behaviour.
  • Support with ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders, leadership updates and business reviews.
  • Digital Marketing
  • Support website updates, blog content, Google Business Profile updates, ad copy and other digital content as required.
  • Assist with third‑party digital agency coordination across performance marketing channels, including paid social, SEO, display, affiliates and paid search.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing, CRM, delivery and restaurant technology trends, identifying opportunities to improve Shake Shack’s digital guest experience.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Support internal communications to keep teams updated on digital campaigns, menu launches, promotions, new Shack openings, activations and key calendar moments.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Shack‑specific and market‑wide campaigns, events, activations, collaborations and promotions.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Culinary and external partners to ensure digital activity is aligned, accurate and delivered on time.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Digital Experience Manager.
  • Carry out any ad hoc duties as instructed by the Marketing department.
  • Personal Profile
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a CRM, digital marketing, digital operations or similar role.
  • Experience building, sending, proofing or reporting on CRM campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with menus, pricing, promotions, copy and guest‑facing content.
  • Confident working with data and reporting, with the ability to spot trends, identify issues and pull out meaningful insights.
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, platforms and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong communicator with good copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different channels.
  • Comfortable working with internal teams and external partners to coordinate campaigns, updates and issue resolution.
  • Naturally curious and proactive, with an interest in improving processes, guest experience and commercial performance.
  • Experience using a CRM platform (e. g. Braze, Mailchimp etc)
  • Experience with delivery platforms, online ordering systems, kiosks, digital menu boards or hospitality technology is beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Willing and able to work in the office or in Shacks at least 3 days per week.
  • A true team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
