About the Role
As a Logistics Administrator, working closely with our Client Relationship Managers (CRM's) you'll play a crucial role in providing essential administrative support to our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring orders are ran to the correct printing method and ensuring these are distributed to the warehouse, either directly to workers or to the relevant customer trays.
- Assist account managers and CRMs in completing admin related tasks but are not limited to running stock reports, adjustments to systems etc.
- Assisting in processing shipping labels for relevant orders where applicable.
- Ensuring that all relevant order/customer references are included on relevant shipping labels to relate costs to them when invoicing.
- Ensuring that orders are closed with the correct costs so that customers are invoiced correctly at the end of the week/month.
- Having a good knowledge of what carriers take what type of parcel and effectively using the shipping calculator to determine the shipping costs.
- Assisting the team in running KPIs if required, so that account managers can report this back to the relevant customers or Walker management.
- Monitoring order volumes/flows, escalating where needed to the relevant account manager/CRM to ensure correct staffing levels are achieved.
- Keeping close relations with their CRM to ensure all daily/weekly/monthly tasks are completed.
- Assist in running charge sheets and using chess outputs to assist account managers when invoicing at week/month end.
- Have the ability to work to a high standard consistently and escalator if tasks are not completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that any health and safety concerns are escalated to the relevant team through Share Point so that action can be taken to resolve health and safety risks.
- Attend team meetings internally when required to stay up‑to‑date on the latest Walker information.
- Answer the phone when calls are transferred through reception, when reception is on leave, or to outside calls.
