Are you an organised, people-focused HR Advisor looking for your next exciting move in HR? This is a rare opportunity to join the HR team within a dedicated, diverse and dynamic SEND residential college.

Location: Derwen College, Whittington Road, Gobowen, SY11 3JA

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Salary: Grade 6

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment, selection and onboarding of colleagues
• Supporting managers with performance, reward and recognition
• Provide timely, accurate advice to manage a employee relations caseload
• Identify, plan and implement L&D opportunities
• Identify, plan and implement staff engagement, wellbeing initiatives
• Maintain awareness of current employment law & best practice

What We’re Looking For

• CIPD level 5 and experience of working in a HR Advisor role
• Excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Professionalism and confidentiality
