Week 1 06:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break

Week 2 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break

Who will you be working for?

What candidate are we looking for?

• Experience from within a HGV Technician/ HGV Mechanic/ HGV Engineer/ Mobile HGV Technician role
• Municipal experience including working on Bin Wagons/ RCVs
• Repairs and wheel alignment
• HGV Technical qualification - NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent.
• Class 2 licence preferred.
• IRTEC accreditation preferred.
• Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry.
• Great team player whilst also able to work on own initiative.
• Experience in the Waste/Recycling industry would be great, but not essential.
• Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices.

What will be your duties?

• As the HGV Technician you will undertake routine inspection & repair of internal & external customers HGVs within the NRG workshop estate
• Undertake commercial vehicle MOT inspections, repair, and final preparation for MOT test
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose, and complete necessary repairs to a high standard
• Complete all compliance paperwork associated with the repair and maintenance of the rental fleet
