- We are looking for a highly organised and proactive
Full Load Planner to join our busy Transport team based in Foston.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced transport professional who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys coordinating operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services.
Due to the location of our site, applicants must have access to their own vehicle.
About the Role
As a Full Planner, you will play a key role in the day-to-day planning and coordination of transport operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle and driver resources are utilised effectively while maintaining excellent customer service levels and compliance with transport regulations.
Working closely with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team, you will help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily transport operations to maximise fleet utilisation and efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle movements and proactively manage any operational disruptions.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure service requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation.
- Analyse routes and workloads to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.
- Support operational performance through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Provide a positive and professional approach that reflects the organisation's core values.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of transport planning processes.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained across all transport activities.
- Undertake any other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by the line manager.

- Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.

- Experience using transport management systems (TMS).
- Experience within a pallet network or multi-drop transport operation.
