As a Wellness Assistant, you will support the planning and delivery of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. From organising events and celebrations to supporting individual hobbies and interests, you'll play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting and delivering group and one-to-one wellbeing activities.
- Encouraging residents to engage in hobbies, interests, and social opportunities.
- Organising themed events, celebrations, and outings.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Supporting residents' independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
- Helping to create a fun, welcoming, and stimulating environment within the home.
What We're Looking For
- A warm, caring, and positive personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to activities and engagement.
- The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in activities, wellbeing, care, hospitality, or customer service is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
