We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic HR Administration Apprentice to join our HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in Human Resources while completing a CIPD Level 3 qualification.

The role will provide administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, absence management, training and general HR activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
  • Support the group recruitment processes.
  • Assist with pre-employment checks, new-starter documentation and inductions.
  • Support the administration of absence, probation and performance-management processes.
  • Arrange employee meetings and prepare relevant letters and documentation.
  • Take accurate meeting notes when required.
  • Maintain training records and assist with coordinating training courses.
  • Respond to general employee queries and provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Complete all learning and assessments required for the CIPD Level 3 apprenticeship.

About you

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Previous HR experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
