This newly created role of Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor will report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager and work Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. The successful candidates must have a 7.5t driving licence and be prepared to work Saturdays when necessary to cover for sickness and holidays and carry out deliveries if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Working in both a freezer and warehouse on a daily basis.
- Offload supplier deliveries using the forklift or reach truck. Full training on both counterbalance and reach truck will be provided.
- Accurately check goods in and process on computer.
- Carry out stock checks when required.
- Top up picking bays when necessary.
- Check driver returns against paperwork.
- Sort out returns (frozen, chilled and ambient) and prepare for shipment to Evesham.
- Process DVN’s and uplifts daily.
- Carry out vehicle inspections daily to check for damage, cleanliness, box lights etc and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Route vehicles on the computer system and liaise with drivers each afternoon regarding the next day’s deliveries.
- Any other duties normally assigned to a Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor.
