Location: Unit 12, Airfield Way, Christchurch, BH23 3PE, United Kingdom

This newly created role of Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor will report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager and work Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. The successful candidates must have a 7.5t driving licence and be prepared to work Saturdays when necessary to cover for sickness and holidays and carry out deliveries if necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in both a freezer and warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Offload supplier deliveries using the forklift or reach truck. Full training on both counterbalance and reach truck will be provided.
  • Accurately check goods in and process on computer.
  • Carry out stock checks when required.
  • Top up picking bays when necessary.
  • Check driver returns against paperwork.
  • Sort out returns (frozen, chilled and ambient) and prepare for shipment to Evesham.
  • Process DVN’s and uplifts daily.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections daily to check for damage, cleanliness, box lights etc and complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Route vehicles on the computer system and liaise with drivers each afternoon regarding the next day’s deliveries.
  • Any other duties normally assigned to a Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor.
