This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment where your work will directly contribute to delivering high‑quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing, cutting and portioning meat to required specifications
  • Breaking down primal and sub‑primal cuts safely and efficiently

  • Minimising waste and maximising yield through effective techniques
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
  • Supporting stock control and the smooth running of daily operations

You will need to be able to work 5 days across 7, so there will be some weekend working involved, and you'll need to be able to reliably commute to our site in Dartford (DA2 6QB).

Requirements:

We're open to applications at all levels of experience. If you have butchery experience, you'll bring your skills and knowledge to the team. If you have less experience, we'll provide training and support to help you develop and grow.

  • Are reliable, flexible and team‑focused

A food hygiene certificate is beneficial, but not essential, we can provide training in this.

At Albion, we value our people and recognise the importance of teamwork, development and pride in what we do. You'll be part of a supportive team where your contribution truly matters, and where you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills over time.

Salary: Up to £39,000 depending on level of experience

Work life balance is important to us and we want you to spend time with family, friends and doing things you enjoy...not just work. This is why we give you 30 days annual leave plus an additional 22 days off across the year worked into your schedule, still earning a full‑time salary.

Additionally, you will also have access to:

  • A subsidised restaurant serving breakfast and lunch all at a reduced cost
