We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager who loves to serve and has at least 1 year of supervisory experience. The role offers an opportunity for growth in our fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications:

  • You must be self‑motivated, positive, and possess a passion for fostering teamwork.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience supervising a team.
  • Food Safety Certification (level 2 food hygiene).
  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day operational and financial excellence of the Shack by exercising great leadership and decision‑making that supports operational standards and the culture of Enlightened Hospitality. The Assistant Manager will:

  • Manage the flow of service to ensure the highest levels of Safety, Cleanliness, Quality, and Speed, while simultaneously upholding Shack standards of Hospitality in all interactions.
  • Help build and lead a high‑performance team of hourly team members by participating in training, development, and performance management.
  • Complete operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.) at the Shack to ensure operational excellence and financial health of the business.
  • Lead and work to maintain the facility and all equipment to the highest standards – ensuring Safety and Cleanliness.
