We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods in line with the daily manifest.
- Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with the Transport Office team.
- Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures (SSOW) and relevant legislation.
- Support and adhere to the company’s Quality Policy and objectives of delivering a profitable and high-quality service.
- Participate in the company’s annual appraisal process.
- Complete trailer defect reports where required.
- Safely and efficiently unload trailers, following all Health & Safety requirements.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and goods are correctly secured before transport.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Digital Tachograph card
- Less than 6 penalty points
