An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join Quintessence Fragrances’ Global Sales team.
As an Account Manager for Quintessence you will manage a portfolio of fragrance customers across the UK. To be successful in this role you must have previous experience within a related sales position, managing key accounts while developing new relationships. An interest in trends in fashion/perfumery/cosmetic industry is important for this role as you will be marketing new and innovative products to our trend setting customers.
Quintessence is part of the privately held Lucta group, specialising in Fine Fragrance, Personal and Air Care. With operations in UK, USA, UAE, India and China we give a global service to our selected clients, which is one of the many reasons we have built such a strong reputation with our customers. UK operations are based in Newhaven, close to Brighton, where our accounts managers regularly meet with colleagues.
Main Duties:
- Manage existing customers and develop own portfolio of accounts.
- Develop customer relationships by providing expert fragrance industry knowledge.
- Personally monitor market trends in product development and competition.
- Collaborate with internal teams (often in our overseas divisions) of evaluation, perfumery and marketing to deliver customer projects.
- Take responsibility for achieving sales and margin budgets.

- Self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative.
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
- Previous Retailer, FMCG experience would be advantageous.
- Strong team player with ability to communicate well.
- Full UK driving license and be prepared to travel in the UK and abroad.
