Our agency is one of the leading agencies in the childcare sector in London and has been for almost 10 years. We are looking for nursery assistants of all levels who are passionate about working in the nursery setting and are happy to commute to different locations.
About the role:
- Assisting the nursery teams with providing a safe, clean & happy environment for children
- Working with 3 key age groups
- Participating in activities and engaging with the children
- Helping with meals and snacks
Paying up to £15 – £18 an hour (depending on the qualification level and experience of candidate) Paid each week, every Friday. Typical shift times can range from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
This role would suit:
- Someone with at least 6 months minimum experience
- College/University staff requiring occasional work during term time holidays
- Students that currently hold childcare qualifications (Cache level 2 or 3) and have 6 months relevant work experience
- Someone who is flexible and able to travel
- Someone with a genuine love and passion for working with children and in nurseries
- Someone who can work Mon-Fri
- Hold a clean and valid DBS that is on the update service
- Be aged 17 and upwards
- Have 3 years of recent references
- Be experienced in working in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Report incidents regarding the safety and wellbeing of the children
- Have knowledge of safeguarding and be prepared to do some training if offered
- Be based in the local area or prepared to travel
- Have at least a minimum of 6 months professional experience working with 0–4-year-olds
- Have knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
